Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data this site collects and how it is used. The data controller is the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust, acting through its authorised agent ("we"). Contact: contact@officialbbt.org.

What we collect

Only what you submit through the forms on this site: pre-orders (titles, quantity, name, email, country, optional message), licence enquiries (organisation, role, titles, languages, territory, print run, intended use, contact details), newsletter sign-ups (email), and contact messages (name, email, subject, message). Each form requires your explicit consent before submission.

How we use it

To administer your pre-order, assess and respond to your licence enquiry, send the newsletter you subscribed to, or reply to your message. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

Submissions are stored in the site's database, hosted on our infrastructure provider (Railway). Notification emails are delivered to the Trust's role mailboxes via a transactional email provider. Access is limited to the Trust's authorised agent and those assisting with the relevant function.

Retention

Pre-orders and licence enquiries are kept while relevant to the print and licensing programme; newsletter emails until you unsubscribe; contact messages for as long as needed to handle the correspondence. You may ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent (including unsubscribing from the newsletter) at any time by writing to contact@officialbbt.org.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If analytics are used, they are privacy-friendly, aggregate and cookie-free; any change to this practice will be reflected here first.
