This site is published for the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust, the charitable religious trust created on 29 May 1972 ("the Trust"), by its authorised agent. It explains the Trust's position, offers the original books, and receives licence enquiries.

Trusteeship confirmation pending

The Trust's current trusteeship is in the process of being confirmed by the California Superior Court under Probate Code § 17200, with the California Attorney General served. Statements on this site about that process are summaries of a pending matter and will be updated as the record develops. No statement on this site claims that the present trusteeship has been judicially confirmed before it has been.

Names and entities

The Bhaktivedanta Book Trust (1972) is distinct from the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust International, Inc., a California corporation incorporated in 1988 ("BBTI"). References to BBTI on this site are descriptive and document-anchored. This site does not allege wrongdoing by any person; it describes events recorded in court documents.
